Prince of Mona-snow

pole.jpgMonaco’s Prince Albert has reached the North Pole on his four-day expedition to highlight global warming. The prince left a base in Russia on Thursday with seven others in the dog-sled expedition. He planted a flag of Monaco and one of the International Olympic Committee, of which he is a member.

The prince said: “We must try to find solutions [to global warming], with scientists obviously, but at the individual level.”

How long it will be until the Arctic has the same climate as Monaco is one of the positive aspects of seeing more high profile individuals campaigning for change, but it will take more than the head of a principality trekking to the top of the earth.

Maybe next we should send Bush and Blair into space on a fact-finding mission.

I’d suggest going on air (TV) to the north pole, shoveling some ice together and burn it… maybe with a big magnifying glas?

Do I sound crazy? Ok… I know I know.. but check this out:

Of course the burning of a small piece of ice by a glas isn’t really dangerous depending how much and where the ice is being melt, but what the hole idea would be about is that some nations might see it on TV, Newspapers etc… and at the beginning think… oh stupid idiots, what are you trying to proove?

But when they realize these people are serious about melting until someone stops them, it might bring some nations to actually send someone to arrest or ban those “ice burners” and at that point itÄs very important to have lawyers who can retrace each word, action or methos that is being used against those “ice burners”.

Let’s say the reason is… “destroying natural resources blabla…” so that same law could then be used against many industrial company’s and fabrics and it might put pressure on them to start thinking of other methods as solar energy, etc…

So I say… if the Ice will melt anyways because the damage in the atmosphere is unfixable, why not start melting it now and see what happens? :) Of course this dumb idea could go all wrong because if the “ice burners” don’t get arrested or banned, they’ll probably melt all ice and will be the number one reason for ice melting :)

That was my goodnightstory for today.. enjoy :)
